Terms and Conditions

1. The ordinary member applicant must present the following documents:
• Singapore Registry of Societies registration letter
• Constitution – stating clearly whether the organisation main activity is in sports, martial arts, dragon dance or lion dance.
• The management committee name list
• Membership name list – with a minimum of 30 names
• Instructors certification – Instructor certification issued by SWDLDF
• A duplicate copy or key committees’ identification card – organisation’s president, secretary, treasurer and instructors.

2. The associate member applicant must present the following documents:
• Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority registration letter- indicating clearly whether the main activity is in sports, martial arts, dragon dance or lion dance.
• Instructors certification – Instructor certification issued by SWDLDF
• A duplicate copy of key committees’ identification card – organisation’s president, secretary, treasurer and instructors.

3. Name of Organisation
• The registered name of the organisation must not have commercial phrase such as ‘Private limited’ and so forth.
• If the organisation name includes the word “Singapore”. This should be placed behind the name of the organisation and in parentheses.
• The name of the organisation should indicate clearly the category of activity that the organisation is representing. Example: – organisation with name that includes
“Dragon and Lion Organisation” should be involved in activities of dragon and lion dance or activities of similar form.

4. The organisation needs to indicate the activity category and present the respective Instructor certificate for that activity, i.e. if the organisation only Involves In martial arts activities, then only instructor certificate for martial arts is required to be submitted. Similarly, if the main activity of the organisation is in dragon dance or lion dance, then the respective Instructor certification is required to be submitted. If the organisation has a combination of martial arts, dragon dance, lion dance or any other forms of combination, then all the respective instructor certificates needs to be submitted.
