Bench Dragon

The bench dragon is formed using bench connecting together to form the main body structure. The dragon’s head on the bench can be as high as 5m, and is controlled by 10 people during the dance. The dragon’s body is formed using benches connecting together which can reach a body length of 200 benches. The dragon’s body is decorated with flowers, plants and inscriptions with blessing.

With hundreds of men wearing the same dragon dance clothes and each shouldering a bench, moving in a synchronized rhythm together with the music from the gongs provides a captivating sight.
